Will a written warning raise my car insurance rates after a DUI conviction? Im from Colchester Vermont.

I believe that if you pay the fine then you are admitting your guilt to this conviction. You can admit guilt and pay the fine, but will not have to pay more for auto insurance in Colchester VT. If this is your first ticket since it is considered a minor offense and most insurance providers do not charge for it. Additionally, it may be that all you have to do is present your license and avoid having to pay a fine. It is likely that it was just a warning in which case the same would apply. If you refuse to do this, then you may also consider some other options.

Other options are: You may choose to fight this warning ticket in court and if you are successful then the violation will not appear on your driving record and you will not have to pay a higher car insurance rate. Other option that you may choose is by choosing to complete a driver improvement course.
